Man Assaulted Through Truck Window
A man reported to authorities last week that he had been assaulted through his truck window while in the parking lot of a local business.
The assault complaint was taken by members of the Lawrenceburg Police Department late Thursday. Shortly before 11:00 p.m. officers spoke with a man who reported he had been sitting inside his truck in the parking lot at Walmart on North Locust Avenue, when he was approached by three men.
The victim said that one of the men reached through his open window and began striking him in the face. The driver side mirror was broken during the assault resulting in around $100 worth of damages.
The victim said he did not know the men’s names, but was able to provide officers with the names of some family members. Officers report they were able to identify the suspect. At the time the report was filed no charges had yet been issued.
